My Mother…

My Mother
Mom, you are my inestimable jewel
You adorn my life with so much beauty none can compare
Like precious stones on a ring
the values of life you’ve given me ,
are engraved deep inside my heart
Like gold You sparkle and shine,
through the rough and dreary path of life,
And you have taught me to also do the same.

As hard as diamond your strength is from deep within , unmistakeable,
You have withstood life pressures, never crumbling no matter what.
A woman like Rubies is what you are,
full of valor all so rare.

Your pearly wisdom guides me through,
The tough decisions i have to make,
I call you Emeralda, for like the precious emerald,
your Perfect flaws shows the precious woman that you are,
You taught me to embrase my flaws
and find strength in the weaknesses i have.

Like sapphire that comes in various colors,
your selflessness comes in different shades!
An embodiment of all things good is what you are,
Never ever complaining, always available to me,
Your love for me is crystal clear,
I love you mom beyond compare.
