What a 10 month old did, that taught an adult a lesson…

Life can actually be easy…when you have the right blue print.

๐Ÿ† Being a mom to four beautiful beings is a full time job..trust me, it is! Especially when taking care of them depends solely on myself and my dear husband. No school for now due to the effect of the pandemic and no other help either in the form of a nanny or some other kind of assistance.

๐Ÿ“ธ You get the picture now, yeah…?

๐Ÿ—“ But with all the busyness I’m surrounded with on a daily basis, there are those beautiful, precious moments you wish would stand still..

๐Ÿต I bet a lot of moms can relate to this..sometimes you get to capture those golden moments in a picture or video, at other times you just carry them in the memory bank in your head..

๐ŸŒป Just a few moments before I decided to pen my thoughts down, my 10 month old son had just woken up, without realizing I was in the far end of the room where he had been sleeping…he got up, looked toward the window, then to the wall beside him…he then turned around and hastily crawled his way toward the door while still on the bed.

๐ŸŒผ I silently watched before I decided to interrupt his journey… I called out his name, then he let that angelic, gorgeous face of his, widen to form the most satisfying smile I’ve seen in a long time..after which he came close to me and settled himself on my lap for his suckling adventure..

๐ŸŒนWhile, he was enjoying himself at my bosom, I couldn’t help but replay the scene that had just ensued in my head..

๐ŸŒท Then, I thought about how much he has grown in such a short period of time. Prior to this time, when he wakes up and doesn’t immediately see someone around he starts to cry..

๐Ÿต But now, he’s so familiar with the house and knows where each one of us could possibly be at any given moment in time… So he’s no longer afraid or distraught by not seeing Anyone around him when he wakes up. He simply gets up, gently crawls out of the bed (its a very low bed incase you are wondering) and makes his way out the door..(we usually keep the door Ajar when he’s asleep alone in the room).

๐ŸŒธ This simple action from my 10 month old baby dropped a life lesson in my heart and I thought to share it…

๐Ÿ’ Many times in life, we find ourselves afraid, confused, sad, lonely, unsure, anxious… You know, just all these negative emotions coursing through our being because of what we think of our situation..

๐Ÿต Much like my son, when he hadn’t understood the fact that he didn’t need to cry when he wakes up, that he could crawl out of the door and he was never alone

๐Ÿ’ฎ What changed his perception of his situation and his now more matured reaction to it was ‘the knowledge and understanding’ he has acquired from observing or studying his environment.

๐ŸŒณ God the Master planner knows what this world would be, and what our lives would be about even before it started Jere 1:5

๐ŸŒบ The great thing is this; God gave us a blue print to help us navigate through this life unafraid, unconfused, unashamed… We only need to study it!

๐Ÿ’ Let’s Study the word of God more, so we can face the Goliaths and dreadful thoughts that may come our way..

๐Ÿ When we fully understand and know the mind of God for us through his word, we won’t fret because of any situation the Devil tries to put us in.
