Mindfulness..

I’ve been thinking lately on the subject of mindfulness..

One of the things that irks me the most is having to find things especially when I’m in a hurry.

.
Its sets me in such a terrible mood and I start blaming everyone… I mean everyone except myself for whatever it is that is missing…
.
.
.
While, sometimes some other persons might be at fault for the misplacement of whatever it is that I’m looking for..I mean..I have kids ranging from 7years old to 1yr +.. So , things are bound to here and there… You get the picture..yeah?!

Other times..in short most times, I am the cause!
Which I failed to see for a long time

.
I realized that I have a habit of keeping things mostly out of reach of my kids and forgetting where I kept them
.
.
.
So, I made a decision to be more mindful about where I keep things..I made a decision to not be so absent minded when I’m dropping anything so that I can easily recall where exactly I left it, to save myself the turmoil of futile, annoying, hurried searches I do when I need whatever it is I’ve kept.

.
.
Now, moving on to more serious aspects of life. We are a product of our decisions and being mindful about the decisions we take in our lives will go a long way to save us from frustrations, regrets and stagnation.

.
We can’t afford to do certain things absent mindedly.. Or from a carefree standpoint.
.
.
.
We need to stop the blame game.. We need to stop blaming our parents, children, spouses, economy, church, school, location etc…for not reaching the fullness of our potential.

We need to rise up today, make a decision to change the status quo , and be more mindful about where we want to be tomorrow.
